single mom

Being 21, going to school, single and being a mother. It quite a challenge. I don't have significant other to share the joys of a child. Or the hard parts.
When I need a break, need to eat, or just shower I can't say "babe, can you watch Aiden."
I'm in this alone, though I am so grateful and thankful that I still live at home. With thanks to my mom she has helped me so much, those times when I felt like I've reached my breaking point she's been there.
The responsibility of being a mother is never over. Though the responsibility is really not a responsibility, it's more of joy.
The first giggle, the first goo, the first smile, the first smelly fart. Everything your child does it's a memory you will always cherish.
